Wisdom of King Solomon

Everyone has heard the name of Solomon. The King of the Jews was famous throughout the world for his wealth and majesty, and especially for his wisdom. The Queen of Sheba had heard much about the splendor of Solomon’s court and the world-wide fame of his learning and wisdom, attracted by such reports. ‍She came to test the king. She brought two flower garlands with her.

One is natural and the other is artificial (unnatural). She placed them before the king to be taken naturally. Solomon was stunned for a moment. While thinking he noticed some bees humming for honey in the withered rose. He asked to open the window. The bees came and settled on the natural flowers and thus solved the queen’s riddle. The queen of Sheba was surprised and praised the king for his great wisdom.

সোলায়মানের নাম সবাই শুনেছে। ইহুদিদের রাজা তার সম্পদ ও মহিমা এবং বিশেষ করে তার প্রজ্ঞার জন্য সারা বিশ্বে বিখ্যাত ছিলেন। শেবার রানী সলোমনের দরবারের মহিমা এবং এই ধরনের প্রতিবেদন দ্বারা আকৃষ্ট তাঁর শিক্ষা ও প্রজ্ঞার বিশ্বব্যাপী খ্যাতি সম্পর্কে অনেক কিছু শুনেছিলেন। সে রাজাকে পরীক্ষা করতে এসেছিল। সঙ্গে নিয়ে এলেন দুটি ফুলের মালা।

একটি প্রাকৃতিক এবং অন্যটি কৃত্রিম। সে সেগুলিকে রাজার সামনে রাখল যাতে প্রাকৃতিকভাবে নেওয়া যায়। সোলায়মান কিছুক্ষণের জন্য হতবাক হয়ে গেলেন। চিন্তা করার সময় তিনি লক্ষ্য করলেন কিছু মৌমাছি শুকিয়ে যাওয়া গোলাপে মধুর জন্য গুনগুন করছে। জানালা খুলতে বললেন। মৌমাছিরা এসে প্রাকৃতিক ফুলের উপর বসতি স্থাপন করে এবং এইভাবে রাণীর ধাঁধার সমাধান করেছিলেন। শেবার রানী অবাক হয়ে রাজাকে দারুণ জ্ঞানের প্রশংসা করতে লাগলেন।
