Subject: About late running of trains.
Sir,
I have the honour to draw your kind attention to the fact that the intercity (আন্তঃনগর) trains of Jamalpur do not maintain timetables (সময়সূচী) in leaving and reaching train stations. As a result, people especially the destination (গন্তব্য) in time. They have to regularly undergo bitter experience (তিক্ত অভিজ্ঞতা) of waiting for trains for long time. Most people going out with various objects (বস্তু) cannot be successful owing to their being late. So, people living in Jamalpur and surrounding (পার্শ্ববর্তী) areas are very dissatisfied with this negligence (অবহেলা) and mismanagement (অব্যবস্থাপনা) on the part of the train authority.
I, therefore, pray and hope that you would (হবে) be kind enough to take proper steps against it and enable (সক্ষম) people to enjoy proper train-service and oblige (বাধ্য করা) thereby.

জামালপুরের আন্তঃনগর ট্রেনগুলো ট্রেন স্টেশন থেকে ছেড়ে যাওয়ার এবং পৌঁছানোর সময়সূচী বজায় রাখে না এই বিষয়টির প্রতি আপনার সদয় দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করছি। ফলে মানুষ বিশেষ করে সময়মতো গন্তব্য। দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে ট্রেনের জন্য অপেক্ষা করার তিক্ত অভিজ্ঞতার মধ্য দিয়ে যেতে হয় তাদের।দেরী হওয়ার কারণে বেশিরভাগ লোকই বিভিন্ন জিনিস নিয়ে বের হওয়া সফল হতে পারে না। তাই ট্রেন কর্তৃপক্ষের এই অবহেলা ও অব্যবস্থাপনায় চরম অসন্তুষ্ট জামালপুর ও আশপাশের এলাকার মানুষ।
তাই, আমি প্রার্থনা করি এবং আশা করি যে আপনি এর বিরুদ্ধে যথাযথ পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের জন্য যথেষ্ট সদয় হবেন এবং জনগণকে যথাযথ ট্রেন-সেবা উপভোগ করতে এবং এর দ্বারা বাধ্যতামূলক করতে সক্ষম হবেন।
