What is the purpose (উদ্দেশ্য) of a poster (পোস্টার) writing ?
The main function of a poster (পোস্টার) is to capture a moving audience (শ্রোতা) with a message. When (কখন) designing a poster (পোস্টার), plan its design (নকশা) carefully.
You will have a short amount of time (সময়) to attract and hold your readers attention. Think (চিন্তা করা) about the one aspect of the information (তথ্য) that must convey the message (বার্তা) and plan your design around (চারদিক) that.
What are the posters Type ?
There are many types of posters. Here I give only seven type posters writing. Which is:
(a) Advertising বা প্রচারনামূলক।
(b) Informative বা তথ্যপূর্ণ।
(c) Motivational বা প্রেরণাদায়ক।
(d) Movie বা সিনেমা।
(e) Event বা ঘটনা।
(f) Travel বা ভ্রমন।
(g) Research বা গবেষণা।
Main Features (বৈশিষ্ট্যসমূহ) of a Poster:
(1) Layout: A creative good title (টাইটেল) in the form of a slogan or good rhyming (কবিতা) words.
For example, Speed very thrills but kills; Pollution needs must a solution; Green (সবুজ) is very clean.
(2) You can use Match Stick figures (চিত্র) for illustration.
(2) Proper (যথাযথ) spacing and proportionate headings and illustrations.
(3) Date (তারিখ), time (সময়) and venue (জায়গা) must be mentioned in case of an event.
(4) A poster displays a message (বার্তা) or an appeal to create awareness.
(5) The content (লেখা) should be organized (সাজানো) in an appropriate style.
(6) Use appropriate (সঠিক) expressions and correct language (ভাষা).
(7) The theme (থিম) should be clear (পরিস্কার).
(8) The poster should be creative and related to the content (লিখা) and theme (থিম) should not be vague.
(9) Do not spend (ব্যয় করা) much time on illustration. Written language (ভাষা) and expressions will only help (সাহায্য করা) you score better.
(10) Name (নাম) of the issuing authority (অথোরিটি) or the organizers is a must.

(4) Prepare a poster in not more than 50 words on kindness to animals to be displayed in the city (শহর) at public places appealing to people (জনগন) to show kindness to animals. You are the secretary of the Society (সমাজ) for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Dhaka.
