Load-Shedding
Today we are quite familiar with the term load shedding. We cannot find any area which is not affected by load shedding. Load shedding is the discontinuation of supply of electricity. Load shedding occurs when the production of electricity is less than the demand. Another reason is unplanned power distribution.
Due to thisLoad-Shedding, socio-economic development of a country can face huge problems. Houses, mills, factories, industries, shops, hospitals all fall victim to it. The running factories and industries came to a standstill day by day.Failure of electricity hampers productivity. Domestic life becomes painful. The housewives cook in the darkness in the kitchen. The sufferings of the students are due to load shedding beggar description.
Patients suffer greatly due to load shedding. Doctors find it difficult to operate on time. Because of modern life, we depend on electricity. Hence public life and industry come to a standstill for load shedding. Stopping load shedding and taking necessary measures is the need of the hour.

বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাট
আজ আমরা লোডশেডিং শব্দটির সাথে বেশ পরিচিত। আমরা এমন কোনো এলাকা খুঁজে পাচ্ছি না যেখানে লোডশেডিং নেই। লোডশেডিং হচ্ছে বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ বন্ধ। চাহিদার তুলনায় বিদ্যুতের উৎপাদন কম হলে লোডশেডিং হয়। আরেকটি কারণ হল অপরিকল্পিত বিদ্যুৎ বিতরণ।
এই লোডশেডিংয়ের কারণে একটি দেশের আর্থ-সামাজিক উন্নয়ন ব্যাপক সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে পারে। বাড়িঘর, কল-কারখানা, শিল্প-কারখানা, দোকানপাট, হাসপাতাল সবই এর শিকার হয়। চলমান কলকারখানা ও শিল্প-কারখানা দিন দিন স্থবির হয়ে পড়ে। বিদ্যুতের ব্যর্থতা উৎপাদনশীলতাকে ব্যাহত করে। গার্হস্থ্য জীবন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক হয়ে ওঠে। রান্নাঘরে অন্ধকারে রান্না করেন গৃহিণীরা। লোডশেডিংয়ের কারণে শিক্ষার্থীদের ভোগান্তি হচ্ছে অনেক বেশি।
লোডশেডিংয়ের কারণে চরম ভোগান্তিতে পড়েছেন রোগীরা। ডাক্তাররা সময়মতো অপারেশন করা কঠিন বলে মনে করেন। আধুনিক জীবন হওয়াতে, আমরা বিদ্যুতের ওপর নির্ভরশীল। তাই লোডশেডিংয়ের জন্য জনজীবন ও শিল্প-কারখানা স্থবির হয়ে পড়ে। লোডশেডিং বন্ধ করে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ এখন সময়ের দাবি।
