Suppose, you are Md. Jonayed Islam. You live in Dhaka. Your friend lives in Village. He wanted to know about the importance of learning English for future life.

My dear Jubayer,

It is a very nice day that I have gotten a letter from you for a long time. I am sorry that due to busyness, I can not write a letter for a few days. In your letter you wanted to know about the importance (গুরুত্ব)of learning english for future life. Now I am describing (বর্ণনা) about it.

We know that the world has become like a village. So we have to depend on others. Now modern civilization (সভ্যতা) is available in English because of international language. All the necessary books of higher education are written in English. English has a commanding (কমান্ডিং) position in every sphere of life like technology, science, medicine, law, commerce, industry and diplomatic service (কূটনৈতিক সেবা).

Most students are eager to study in Australia, Canada and Eu countries. They must need the IELTS. If you want to get the jobs, you should have proper (সঠিক) knowledge in English. Without knowing English, you lag behind in the present world. We know that student life is period of learning. So you can learn English regularly without wasting time. It will be helpful for your future life.

I hope this letter of mine will find a good solution to the importance of learning English. With the best regards to your family members.

ধর, তুতি মোঃ জানায়েদ ইসলাম। তুমি ঢাকায় থাক। তোমার বন্ধু গ্রামে থাকে। সে ভবিষ্যতের জীবনের জন্য ইংরেজি শেখার গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে জানতে চেয়েছিলেন।

এখন, ভবিষ্যতের জীবনের জন্য ইংরেজি শেখার গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে তোমার বন্ধুকে একটি চিঠি লিখ।

আমার প্রিয় জুবায়ের,

এটা খুব সুন্দর দিন যে, তোমার কাছ থেকে অনেক দিন পরে একটি চিঠি পেয়েছি। ব্যস্ততার কারণে কিছুদিন চিঠি লিখতে পারি নাই বলে দুঃখিত। তোমার চিঠিতে তুমি ভবিষ্যতের জীবনের জন্য ইংরেজি শেখার গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে জানতে চেয়েছিলে। এখন আমি এটি সম্পর্কে বর্ণনা করছি।

আমরা জানি পৃথিবীটা গ্রামের মতো হয়ে গেছে। তাই অন্যের ওপর নির্ভর করতে হয়। আন্তর্জাতিক ভাষার কারণে ইংরেজিতে এখন আধুনিক সভ্যতা পাওয়া যায়। উচ্চশিক্ষার প্রয়োজনীয় সব বই ইংরেজিতে লেখা। প্রযুক্তি, বিজ্ঞান, চিকিৎসা, আইন, বাণিজ্য, শিল্প এবং কূটনৈতিক পরিষেবার মতো জীবনের প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে ইংরেজির একটি কমান্ডিং অবস্থান রয়েছে।

বেশিরভাগ শিক্ষার্থী অস্ট্রোলিয়া, কানাডা এবং ইইউ দেশগুলিতে পড়তে আগ্রহী। তাদের অবশ্যই IELTS করতে হয়। তুমি যদি চাকরি পেতে চাও তবে তোমার ইংরেজিতে সঠিক জ্ঞান থাকতে হবে। ইংরেজি না জানলে, তুমি বর্তমান বিশ্বের জন্য পিছিয়ে থাকবে। আমরা জানি যে ছাত্রজীবন হল শিক্ষার সিময় । তুমি সময় নষ্ট না করে নিয়মিত ইংরেজি শিখতে পারে। এটি তোমার ভবিষ্যত জীবনের জন্য সহায়ক হবে।

আমি আশা করি আমার এই চিঠিটি ইংরেজি শেখার গুরুত্বের ভাল সমাধান খুঁজে পাবে। তোমার পরিবারের সদস্যদের শুভেচ্ছা দিও।
