Tree Plantation
Tree plantation is the planting of trees on a large scale all over the country. Trees help maintain the balance of our environment. But it benefits us in many ways. They supply oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. Trees give us food, oxygen, furniture, fuel and shade. Moreover, trees prevent land erosion. They help us financially.
If there were no trees anywhere, we would not get any oxygen. We know that people can not survive without oxygen. Trees protect us from natural disasters at different times. If there are fewer trees in the country, various problems arise such as heat, pollution, floods, cyclones etc. So we need to plant more trees to protect mankind. A country needs 25% forest area of its total area.
Both the government and the people of the country have to take care of the trees. The government alone will not be able to do the work of tree plantation. Strict action must be taken against those who work in vain. We will plant more trees in June and July. We should raise awareness among the people for tree plantation.

বৃক্ষরোপন হলো সারা দেশে ব্যাপক হারে গাছ লাগান। গাছ আমাদের পরিবেশর ভারসাম্য রক্ষা করতে সাহায্য করে। পাছ আমাদের বিভিন্ন ভাবে উপকার করে থাকে। তারা অক্সিজেন সরহরাহ করে এবং কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড গ্রহণ করে। গাছ আমাদের খাবার, অক্সিজেন, আসবাপত্র, জ্বালানী এবং ছায়া দেয়। তাছাড়া গাছ ভূমি খয় রোধ করে। তারা আমাদের অর্থনৈতিক ভাবে সাহায্য করে।
যদি কোথাও কোন গাছ না থাকতো তাহলে আমরা কোন অক্সিজেন পেতাম না। আমরা জানি অক্সিজেন ছাড়া মানুষ বাঁচতে না। গাছ বিভিন্ন সময় আমাদের প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ থেকে রক্ষা করে। দেশের মধ্যে গাছ কম থাকলে বিভিন্ন সমস্যা সৃষ্টি হয় যেমন গরম, দূষণ, বণ্যা,সাইকোলন ইত্যাদি। তাই মানবজাতিকে রক্ষা করার জন্য বেশি করে গাছ লাগাতে হবে। একটি দেশের মোট আয়তনের ২৫ ভাগ বনভূমির প্রয়োজন।
দেশের সরকার ও জনগণ উভয় মিলে গাছের যত্ন নিতে হবে। সরকার একাকি কোন ভাবেই বৃক্ষ রোপন এর কাজ করতে পাবে না। যারা অজথা কাজ কাটে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কঠিন ব্যাবস্থা নিতে হবে। আমরা জুন ও জুলাই মাসে বেশি করে বৃক্ষ রোপন করবো।আমাদের মানুষের মাঝে বৃক্ষ রোপন এর জন্য সচেনতা বৃদ্ধি করা উচিত।
