Now, write an email to your friend expressing your condolence at his father’s death.

Dear Joy,
I was very shocked when I heard your father is no longer on earth. I could never think that he would leave us so prematurely. There is no word for me to console you in such a situation. Your sadness is so great that words will fail to uplift (console) you. The loss of a father is irrecoverable. Father is like a shadow. There is no one else in the world who can fulfill the lack of a father. Only those who have lost their father can understand this pain. I pray to the Almighty of Allah that he might give you strength (power) to bear the loss. I also pray heartily (cordially) that his soul may rest in peace.

আমি খুব হতবাক হয়েছিলাম যখন শুনলাম তোমার বাবা আর পৃথিবীতে নেই। এত অকালে তিনি আমাদের ছেড়ে চলে যাবেন ভাবতেও পারিনি। এমন পরিস্থিতিতে তোমাকে সান্ত্বনা দেবার জন্য আমার কোন শব্দ নেই। তোমার দুঃখ এতই মহান যে শব্দগুলি তোমাকে উন্নীত করতে ব্যর্থ হবে । বাবার হারানোর ক্ষতি অপূরণীয়। বাবা হলো ছায়ার মতো। বাবার অভাব পূরণ করার মতো পৃথিবীতে আর কেউ নেই। যারা বাবাকে হারিয়েছে তারাই বুঝতে পারে এই কষ্ট। আমি মহান আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা করি তিনি যেন তোমাকে ক্ষতি সহ্য করার শক্তি দেন। আমিও আন্তরিকভাবে প্রার্থনা করি যেন তার আত্মা শান্তিতে থাকে।
