Dialogue the cause of degradation of quality in education
Suppose, you are Md Shariful Islam. You friend is Md Anowerul Islam who lives in Portugal with his family.
Sharif: Hello, Anower. How are you?
Anower: I am fine but at present I am thinking seriously about the fall of the standard of our education.
Sharif: I have also thought of this topic and I am really afraid what will happen in future if our education system fails to maintain the minimum standard of our education.
Anower: Actually now our schools and colleges and even universities give emphasis on the certificates only.
Sharif: Too much dependence on note books and coaching centers is telling upon our standard of education.
Anower: As the teachers are not well paid, qualified persons do not show much interest in the teaching profession.
Sharif: Exactly. But it is high time our government took necessary steps to save our education system from degradation.
Anower: I also think so. The first and foremost action of the government is to check the leaking of the question paper. Then I think students will be aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Sharif: Of course.
Anower: Okay. Bye.

বাংলা অর্থ
ধরু, তুমি মোঃ শরিফুল ইসলাম। তোমার বন্ধু হলো মোঃ আনোয়ারুল ইসলাম যে তার পরিবারের সাথে পর্তুগালে থাকে।
এখন, শিক্ষার মানের অবনতির কারণ সম্পর্কে তুমি এবং তোমার বন্ধুর মধ্যে একটি সংলাপ লিখ।
শরীফ: হ্যালো, আনোয়ার। তুমি কেমন আছো?
আনোয়ার: আমি ভালো আছি কিন্তু বর্তমানে আমাদের শিক্ষার মান কমে যাওয়া নিয়ে গুরুত্বের সঙ্গে ভাবছি।
শরীফ: আমিও এই বিষয়টি নিয়ে ভেবেছি এবং আমি সত্যিই ভয় পাচ্ছি যে আমাদের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা যদি আমাদের শিক্ষার ন্যূনতম মান বজায় রাখতে ব্যর্থ হয় তবে ভবিষ্যতে কী হবে।
আনোয়ার: আসলে এখন আমাদের স্কুল-কলেজ এমনকি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোও শুধু সার্টিফিকেটের ওপর জোর দেয়।
শরীফ: নোট বই এবং কোচিং সেন্টারের উপর অত্যধিক নির্ভরশীলতা আমাদের শিক্ষার মানকে ব্যহত করছে।
আনোয়ার: শিক্ষকদের বেতন ভালো না থাকায় যোগ্য ব্যক্তিরা শিক্ষকতা পেশায় তেমন আগ্রহ দেখান না।
শরীফ: ঠিক। কিন্তু আমাদের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থাকে অবক্ষয়ের হাত থেকে বাঁচাতে সরকারের প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ার এখনই সময়।
আনোয়ার: আমিও তাই মনে করি। সরকারের প্রথম ও প্রধান কাজ হচ্ছে প্রশ্নপত্র ফাঁস রোধ করা। তাহলে শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের কর্তব্য ও দায়িত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন হবে বলে আমি মনে করি।
শরীফ: অবশ্যই।
আনোয়ার: ঠিক আছে। বিদায়।
শরীফ: বিদায়।
